HAPPY VETERANS DAY!
We have had the privilege to serve more than 250 American and Canadian military families with their housing needs over the years. Many of these families relocate every 3 or 4 years. Some stay longer. Some leave behind their home with the expectation to return to it upon retirement once their duty is up.
Moving is a challenge for most people, emotionally and physically. Military families have additional challenges that many civilians never experience. We am always amazed by the fortitude of the spouse who stays behind to handle the move details or who arrives to house hunt and buy the home while their spouse is away on active duty. Their children have to leave behind friends, start at a new school and make new friends frequently.
On this Veteran's Day, we honor our military veterans for these and other sacrifices, the dedication and duty to our country to ensure freedoms here and elsewhere. Thank you.
