AUGUST 23, 2011--COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA: The USGS has issued an Earthquake Event notification in Virginia measuring 5.9. As a result, Earthquake Insurance Coverage Binding authority is suspended effective at 4:00pm on 8/23/2011 by Travelers and other carriers. Pending policies in some areas of Maryland have also been suspended.
